Feature:Titanium forging is the product of a metallurgical process in which titanium is given a specific shape by applying strong compressive forces. The pressure exerted during metal forging shapes the titanium and also causes plastic deformation of the metal's grain structure, causing the grain flow to follow the shape of the workpiece. Forging is therefore both an effective method of forming titanium and a method of increasing its directional strength. The forging process can create stronger parts than those made by any other metalworking process.
